Engaged!

Is it not the most beautiful ring ever? P.S. this picture looks profesh. ;)
Last night was the most perfect night in the history of perfect nights. It started with Marshal picking me up from work and taking me to Buca Di Beppo where we had reservations. After a delicious meal, we stopped at Kneaders to get dessert to take home- chocolate pie and raspberry pie. :) He knows I'm a sucker for sweets. When we came home, Marshal made me stay in the car and honestly I figured that he was getting his present wrapped or set up or something because I still needed to do that! When I finally got the signal to come inside, I opened the door to see the most handsome man down on one knee with the most beautiful ring in the entire world. He asked "Will you marry me?" and I was so taken back by the decorations and candles and lighting that I just jumped into his arms to kiss him... without answering. :) Oopsies. After a couple seconds I realized what I had done and pulled away to pretty much scream yes! He had the entire living/dining room littered with tealight candles, red, pink, and white streamers draped from one end of the house to the other, balloons everywhere and the song "Marry Me" by Train playing to accompany the make shift dance floor he created by rearranging the furniture. After we danced, I looked to the table to find our pie set out on plates, a big bottle of wine, two wine glasses and more candles. :) As I sit here thinking about last night and looking around to see all of it still in place, my cheeks are still hurting from smiling and I can't stop even now. You see, Marshal had me completely fooled into thinking that we had actually gotten each other the same exact gift for Valentines. I got him (well, us) new tennis rackets and balls so that we can play tennis at the park down the street in the Spring. I of course was bragging about how I already had his present when I got it last week and he said that he already had mine too so I proceeded to say how mine was better because it was for both of us and he said his was too. Then he said his is better because we used to talk about it all the time when we would go for walks by the park! The park where the tennis courts are that gave us the idea in the first place! I. was. pissed. I couldn't believe that my genius idea had already been thought of! Somehow, he had a hunch that I had gotten tennis rackets and was able to lead me on perfectly because not only do we not have two sets of tennis rackets now, but we are getting married! His present was much more extravagant than mine I must say. :) Anyways, once we ate our delicious pie, he said he had one more surprise and he came out with a little white box with painted red hearts all over it and he was holding it about waist high as he came back into the room. There's that one SNL skit that serves as background knowledge right here... SO funny! I could not stop laughing! Thanks to his receptionist at work for helping him make the box hahahahaha. Seriously, hilarious. Then I gave him my present and he was actually stoked to see the ones I got even though he already knew what it was haha. I got him a red and white one and a red and pink one for me. I can't wait to go play tennis with my FIANCE :) :) I'm so excited to be able to call him that. :) After calling what felt like a million people and showing off this beautiful ring on my finger, the night finally came to an end but I would give anything to rewind and relive it every day if I could. I can't believe that he put so much thought into something for me and pulled it off so perfectly. Usually, when we're excited about something, we can't keep it from each other! But he definitely managed, and I can truly say that I have never been happier.  I always knew that we would get married, ever since May 26, 2010 when Marshal told me that he wanted to marry me someday. After all we've been through in the last (almost) 3 years, now is the perfect time for this and I am so excited to start planning not only our wedding but the rest of our lives together. If you ever read this, Marshal, I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die. You are perfect and that wine is disgusting. Hahahaha. :) Let the happy times roll.

Not a teen!

It's official, I'm no longer a teen and Marshal is cougar chaser for the next month. ;) It's been such a great birthday week thanks to a few of my favorite people, I'm so glad that my birthday justifies having so much fun! My cutesy sister, brother in law and niece and nephew came up last Wednesday to spend almost a whole week with us! The only way it could've been better is if I didn't have to work but oh well, we still got to have a ton of fun. Let's see, starting with Wednesday: that was the only day I cooked all week haha but I made dinner for everyone and once they arrived, it was the "see how fast we can show them the whole house without burning dinner" game because we were so excited to have company. :) We had bought them a new bed set for the spare room and all new bathroom stuff as well, it's so fun having a  SPARE bedroom and bathroom! Anyways... Thursday, Marshal and I still had to work which totally sucked but it was so fun going home to company and of course dinner haha. I don't think it was much of a vacation for them because they spent the whole time shopping and a lot of it for our house. I could never thank them enough. It's not that we needed anything desperately, or at least we didn't think so but they were way too generous in filling up our house and mostly the kitchen. :) Also, Jason and Marshal were doing projects on the house pretty much everyday which probably wasn't very relaxing but it was verrrry productive! Jason and Jodi made the best dinner on Thursday because they brought up the world famous Blythe carne asada and chicken. Oh how I've missed it! Also, Jason made the absolute best spanish rice I've ever had and Marshal would definitely agree being the huge rice lover that he is haha. After work on Friday, we did a little Best Buy shopping and Jodi got a new camera which I am SO excited about for her. I love her photography and I love that she loves doing it. We bought a few new movies too and then went home and watched Men of Honor and had some ice cream. :) On Saturday, Jasmine came back from visiting Jaymie in Mesquite and Jason and Marshal ripped all of our baseboards and molding off of the walls because we're getting our house painted hopefully within a couple weeks. In the meantime, we went shopping so I could get a few little things for myself for my birthday and get stuff for dinner. We made dinner as soon as we got home because Jodi, Jasmine and I had to get ready to go to Tuacahn to see Hairspray. We were sooo excited all day we couldn't hardly contain ourselves when we got there. Jasmine loves the movie so we were excited to see how she would react to the show. We had the most awesome seats we could have had thanks to my awesome sister. We were front and center just three rows from the stage and in the VIP section with comfy seats and even free water bottles that we were way too excited about haha. The play was so awesome and it was so fun to see Jasmine just thrilled the entire time. It was opening night so there were a couple glitches but that made the play even more fun. During one of the scenes, there was somebody backstage who didn't turn their microphone off and burped sooo loud. It interrupted one of the actresses and nobody could keep their composure. Everyone on stage was laughing and couldn't stop for probably a good minute haha it was hilarious. Then it started getting really windy and one of the gigantic prop televisions became dangerously loose so they had to stop the play with only like 15 minutes left in order to move that section of people and take down the screen. In the meantime, one of the actors took on stand up comedy and kept us all surprisingly entertained. After probably 20 minutes and a very stressful removal, the show was back on. Once the show was over, we met the actors and actresses out in the plaza so Jasmine could take pictures with all of them. I thought it was hilarious because the main guy totally thought he was hot shit and then when we saw them up close he was totally cross eyed hahaha so funny. All of the actors were really good at their parts though, it exceeded my expectations for sure. By that time, it was like 12:30 and the boys were at home playing video games but eager to go to bed as soon as we got there, at least Marshal haha. We're just not used to being up late with friends! :) Sunday morning, we picked up my dad and took him with us to Mesquite for a little Pre-birthday brunch with the fam at Lindy's house. It was really nice to visit with everyone and I'm glad we got to hang out for a while. Then we went home and Jasmine and I started baking dessert while Jodi made potato salad for the bbq at Marshal's dad's house. It was so nice of them to have us over and they made a delicious dinner. I'm glad my sister was down to meet some of his family, since they're pretty much all I've got in the way of family here. However the visit was cut a little short because we had to be able to make it to Home Depot before it closed because part of our fence blew down in the little wind storm we had the night before. Oh! Side note, we got a free block wall along on side of our backyard, Score! Anyways, the boys headed to Home Depot and we went back home. Jasmine and I made homemade ice cream and did laps around the house shaking it until it was done haha. The rest of the night was super relaxing, Jodi and I just hanging out playing on the iPads and the guys were outside until like 10:30 fixing the fence haha. They're so awesome. :) Also, I just want to say how happy I am that they get along and are cool with hanging out for a week. I'm glad that Marshal is comfortable around my family and that they like him and everything, especially my brother because he's somewhat of a father figure although much younger and cooler, I feel like he has taken a lot of responsibility in my family and in particular with me after my dad got sick. I really appreciate all that he does for me, Marshal and the rest of the family. I know I'd be lost without him and he does so much for my sister and he's the cutest dad ever, our family just wouldn't be the same if he wasn't part of it. By the way, cutest kids ever. Jasmine and I have always had a pretty close relationship and I've always loved it but the baby is starting to be the same way and I couldn't be happier. Coming home to his adorable little face saying "Auntie Holly!" and giving me the biggest hug made me forget about anything bad that happened during the day. Already missing that so much. They are so much fun to be with and unfortunately are growing up so quick! Okay so Monday was my birthday and they woke up to make me pink pancakes, my favorite! I did have to work but I got a couple good deals so I was okay with it in the end, especially because the end came a couple hours earlier than normal, thanks bossman! :) We went to Texas Roadhouse for dindin and it was deeeelicious although really, ribeyes are hard to eat at least for me. Semi-retarded.... We ran home really quick because we had a few minutes before the show and I just couldn't go any longer without my birthday present, it was killing me! After some much built up suspense, Marshal brought out a big box and what was in it? A freaking Kitchenaid!!!!!! I couldn't believe it and I still can't believe it. I am SO STOKED. I have been wanting one for so long and I'm so excited to use it...everyday. :) Jasmine also got me the coolest brownie pan ever and they made me a "donut" cake. So great. Okay we ran out the door to get to Tuacahn to see Aladdin! Oh man, we were all so excited, even Marshal. :) It certainly did not disappoint us either. It was super cute and really entertaining, they did a little ad-libbing and were pretty freaking funny. The Genie was awesome and was Marshal's favorite haha he was so excited to take a picture with him. He's so cute. Jasmine got to take a picture with Jasmine and she thought it was the coolest thing ever. The little things that bring them so much joy. :) We got home and just had to have birthday cake and sing one more time, what's a birthday without that? Now here I sit at work with swollen eyes both from lack of sleep and crying because my family won't be at the house when I get home tonight. It's been the best week having family here with me finally. It's been far too long and Marshal and I have both genuinely enjoyed having people in the house and it finally felt like we had friends haha. They did way too much for us, we could never repay them enough. I'm so thankful for my family and that Jason and Jodi were able to spend the week with us. I just feel like crying all day and I probably will pick it back up as soon as I get off work haha, I hate not having them close enough to randomly have them over for dinner or just to hang out. It's been a little bit of a dream this last week and I hate to see it end. My family is the freaking bomb. On another note, Marshal is the best, cutest boyfriend in the world. He's so cute with the kids and he treated me like a princess all day yesterday. He is so perfect, I'm so blissfully happy. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday one to remember!
Hello twenties!

2 years!

Bliss. I wish that was the only word I could use to describe the last two years but really, what relationship is purely bliss? Truth is, it's been crazy! We've had ups and downs, good days and bad days but hardly a day apart and I wouldn't have it any other way. Since high school graduation we have been what many call, "connected at the hip". Let me tell you, so much has happened since the day we heard our names called and our hats flew but one thing still remains the same, we're in love. Now more than ever. It isn't always easy but worth it? Always. Enough sap, let's get to the fun we had this last weekend. :) First of all, this has nothing to do with our anniversary but I went to breakfast to kiss my cute little friend Mickelle goodbye before she left for northern Utah... She'll be back and I can't wait. :) Okay back to us and our weekend...We left Friday after work and headed out to Gunlock reservoir for a little relaxing weekend of camping and fishing on the lake. So we thought... We got there too late to put the boat in the water and therefore too late to drive the boat to the other side of the lake to camp, suck. We headed back down the road desperately hoping to find a spot somewhere to pitch the tent.. what? hahaha. Anyways, we found this cute little area right off of the river that stems from the lake. It was in a canyon and it was even sandy like a real beach! We went with it and set up camp very quickly because we were freaking starving. We celebrated the day with a little bit of Captain Jack Sparrow's drink of choice. ;) and way too much of it, might I add. At least for me and with a very empty stomach. No fun. Good thing my awesome bf watched his intake a little more closely and his hamburger shot his buzz right down haha. Let's sum it up by saying I was completely out of my mind, hating my life and I have small red spots on my face from a bursted blood vessel thanks to excessive hurling. Happy Anniversary! I don't understand how it's fun. I just don't get it. Thankfully, I felt back to my normal self the next morning so it didn't ruin the whole weekend. :) We packed up camp at the butt crack of dawn (7:00 am) and went back to the lake to launch the boat and do what we went to do! We found the cutest spot at the lake with a big tree right by the water, a couple of tables and a nice little beach to hang out on. This little spot was really cute until it hit about 100 degrees. Then we were loving that tree and our camp chairs nestled into the water. We took the boat out to fish which failed so we decided to jump in the water to cool off. Cool off we did! That water was frigid. It was fun though. :) We spent the rest of the afternoon just totally relaxed in the shady water with Lady having the time of her life. Marshal trained her to not be afraid of the water by rewarding her with chips and by the time we left, she was chasing and stomping on crawdads neck deep in the water! We were such proud little parents haha. We decided that we just wanted to go home instead of camping another night, we were worn out. We packed everything into the boat, went for one last ride and loaded it up. As soon as we got home, we fought for the shower and were actively focused on just staying awake the rest of the evening haha. Marshal downed an excessive amount of ice cream and then we ordered Hungry Howies. It was delicious. Especially followed by a long night of good sleep. :) Sunday, Marshal finished laying the tile in our bathroom while I did a lot of cleaning. It'll take a few days to make sure everything is in tip top shape for my sissy! :) We got everything put away and clean for the most part and then we went to see Wade. Their cat just had kitties the night before and they were soooo tiny! I really hate cats but it was so adorable, I couldn't believe it. Marshal just couldn't leave them alone, he is such an animal lover haha it's cute. :) Then we went to Target to get supplies to set up the spare bedroom and bathroom for our company. Cute stuff too! That night, we went and checked out Pepper's Cantina for dinner and it was so delicious! Really close to the best Mexican we've had here so far. We won't be strangers. ;) The night was concluded with a routine trip to Walmart and a couple homemade cherry shakes. T'was a good weekend to commemorate the best two years of my life and hopefully his too. :) Looking forward to the next who knows how many years but we'll take it one day at a time for now. Oh! I forgot one thing. We decided that we would just get cards for each other and consider the camping trip as our "gift". Good idea we though especially because both of our birthdays are coming up and we're constantly pouring money into house projects which is way more fun anyways. :) So what does he do? Buys me 5 different cards. They all were perfect in that it was like they were made based off of our relationship. So hilarious, I loved every one of them. He just couldn't resist and had to buy me The Vow too. :) No complaints coming from me. He's the best. It's been a great weekend and it's officially my birthday week! That means I'm in charge, if only I was taken seriously haha. Can't wait to see my family this week and celebrate my birthday at Tuacahn watching Aladdin. Stoked! Will have plenty to update after the rest of the week's events. Until then... Loving the life I live. <3

Bye Mickelle! Can't wait for you to move back!

Fishin' boat. :)

Love him. <3

Baby Lady, not so photogenic...

Too much to tell

Now it's been almost a year since I've logged in to blog... Oops. There is no way that I could possibly write about everything that has happened but I do think a little update is in order. First, work: Old Navy is so far out of the picture and I'm glad to be done with that. I really miss the girls I worked with but I just couldn't handle the drama anymore. Once I quit there, my "best boyfriend there could ever be" supported me for about four months while I finished out the semester and lived completely stress free. :) That got old though especially as summer began to approach. Right now I can say that I have had 4 different jobs in the last month. What struggling economy? ;) I first got a job at Sears and I don't know why in the world I thought I would like it because I just hate retail! Lasted for about two weeks but I was looking for jobs the entire time. Then I got a job at the cutest little frozen yogurt place that there has ever been. It's out here in Ivins (Where we live now! More on that later.) and it's owned by the cutest family ever. They were so nice and made me feel like I was just one of their kids and I loved it. They couldn't offer me very many hours but I got another part time job at an insurance agency pretty much being a telemarketer. That boss was the froyo boss's friend so I just felt really comfortable working for the both of them. I knew that scheduling wouldn't be so fun though so I didn't stop looking for jobs; really seeking a full time position for the summer. The second day after I started at the insurance agency, I interviewed at OTRA Protection and got the job. It's full time and pays $1500 base plus comission. As you can probably guess, I accepted that job offer and had to go to the other two bosses and quit. That was honestly the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time. I don't know why it was so hard but I hated everything about it. I didn't want to disappoint either of them and I was so happy working for them that I was somewhat sad that I got the full time job. I was really nervous about selling extended car warranties because that's nothing that I ever pictured myself doing. Ever. I started training there and felt like I was catching on pretty quickly. It's an inbound call center so I just answer calls, I don't call people which is muuuuch easier. They keep telling me that I'm the best new person they ever could have hired and I'm doing surprisingly well actually. I've gotten a decent amount of deals and I'm surprised at how well I can talk to people on the phone and get them to buy into what I'm saying haha. I seriously love my job now. Not because I get to talk to the most retarded people all over America everyday (there are A LOT of stupid people out there) but because I love the work environment. I love the people I work with, they're all really nice and freaking funny. I spend most of the day laughing, at least when the phones are slow. Plus since the majority of them are guys, they eat all the baked goods that I can't seem to stop making and that prevents me from being 500 pounds! Woo! My boss tells me pretty much everyday how good I'm doing and they're so easy to talk to and ask for help. They're really personable and it seems that they genuinely care about me, it's a nice change. The only thing I don't like is the schedule being Monday through Friday 10 to 7. I love the no weekend business but I really miss making dinner haha I know that's weird but it's true! My boss promises me that my schedule will be changing soon though so no complaints. :)  I am quickly realizing that loving your job makes all the difference. Of course the money is great but working for money alone is miserable. Onto my schooling: First and foremost, it's out for the summer! Yes! Oh by the way, I've transferred from SUU down to Dixie, I'm soooo over driving up to Cedar. I have now technically completed my associates degree but don't have the actual diploma because I haven't been at Dixie long enough. I still think it counts. :) I've been accepted into the College of Education at Dixie and I start the program courses in the Fall with 16 credits and an all day practicum in the elementary schools once a week. Now let's address my stupidity... So it's finals week and we're moving the week before right? (still to come) Of course we don't have internet access so I don't have the chance to check my Dixie email to see that one of my teachers decided to switch the day of our final to Monday morning instead of Wednesday morning. Guess who totally spaced one of only three finals she had to attend? Yeah... oops! Somehow I still pulled off a B in that class haha. Everyone makes mistakes, right? I got A's in all of my other classes which should really help with the scholarship I applied for. Anyways, I've got just two years left including the semester of student teaching and it's all laid out for me, that's a stress relief! I'm sooo excited to start really getting into teaching and especially to get real life experience in the schools. More exciting stuff now... We bought a house! After an excruciatingly long 8 months living with Marshal's uncle, we got out! Let me just tell you, that was miserable. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate that we had somewhere nice to stay and save money but it just turned into an awful situation pretty quickly. We decided to just go to the bank on a whim and see what we could qualify for, not thinking that we could ever buy a house. We were extremely surprised to say the least! We immediately started looking at houses and soon after realized that any actual house with a yard that was in our price range were pretty much either short sales or foreclosures which meant a long time before moving. We kept looking with the "help" of our agent who was really not of any assistance except to use her little key to get us into houses that we wanted to look at. I'd say we looked at maybe 4 or 5 houses and we really loved one of them. It was a short sale and it already had multiple offers so we submitted our offer and continued looking. I was checking the internet every morning and calling our agent and Marshal with anything that looked interesting. One morning I saw a couple of new listings in Ivins and called Rachel (our agent) and texted Marshal while he was at work. Rachel said that we should look at it immediately and get our offer in that morning if we liked it. Here I am, stressing that we've got to go right now and Marshal won't text back or answer his phone. So on my way to look at the house, I surprised him at work and told him about it and we were off! We weren't super stoked on the idea of living so far out of town but we couldn't rule anything out at this point. We showed up at the house and were not too impressed at all. The stucco was a gross peachy color and the front yard had rocks, cactuses and weeds. I don't know if I should say fortunately here or not but the fence was blown down so we walked through the huge side yard and found the back door to be open and since Rachel hadn't arrived yet, we just let ourselves in. :) The place was kind of really a huge wreck. The owners had abandoned it and that was very obvious. Luckily while we were at the house, the selling agent just happened to stop by to put the for sale sign out in the front yard and he explained why they were selling it at what seemed to be a herendous price for the condition of the house and property. He made it clear that the list price was set for after they put 20 thousand dollars into fixing it up. However, he said that if we wanted to fix it up ourselves, he would knock that much off the price. That changed everything! That turned this sad, dirty house into a blank canvas for us to create whatever kind of environment we wanted to. Soon after our agent showed up, we followed her back to her office and put in our offer. We knew there would be multiple offers because that's just how it was with any house in our price range, however we also knew that it would be a very quick process. The next morning, Rachel called me and informed me that it had gone to a multiple offer situation and that they needed our best and final offer immediately. Our initial offer was really all we could do seeing how there was so much do be done with the house following the purchase. We had to stand firm on our offer and simply hope that it was good enough. That night at about 5:00, Rachel called and to our surprise, told us that they had chosen our offer! We could not believe it, seriously we were just dumbfounded. The seller said that we didn't have the highest offer even, but the best financing so they chose us! While excitement flooded over us as we sat on the back porch of the house we were miserably sharing with Uncle John but anxiety wasn't far from our minds either. We started rethinking about the house and had it chalked up to be pretty terrible in our minds. We had all but decided that we would back out of our offer when we drove back out to Ivins to look at it again. With the back door still unlocked, we let ourselves back into what could be our first home. We were completely shocked at how much better the house really was in comparison to what we were thinking. The cleaning crew had come by and you would never imagine it to make that big of a difference, but it really did! We were so sold and we couldn't stop running around saying what we would do to fix up this and that and how perfect the house could be with a little bit of work and a lot of fun time spent together. We continued through the buying process which is weirdly long for how little we actually had to do. However, because everything ran so smoothly, we were told that our closing date would be bumped up to the week before the original date which was April 26th. We started frantically packing and getting ready immediately. Okay that <<< was a total lie. We didn't start packing at all haha we just kind of rode the wave of excitement. We went to the title company on April 20th at 9:00 am and Marshal signed on the ten trillion dotted lines and we were one step away from owning our own house! When I say we or our house, it's figurative. The house is really only in Marshal's name but it's ours. :) The seller wasn't able to sign the closing documents until the next week unfortunately but by the time they did, we really were so ansy and ready to get into the house. As soon as we got the keys, Marshal moved a truckload of stuff over but we stayed one more night at the old house. The next morning, I shampooed our new carpets and did some cleaning along with a carload of stuff. The rest of the day was spent packing and moving and cleaning until both my car and his truck looked like a very successful game of Tetris. We stopped at Subway for some dinner before making the last little trek to our new house. Then something else came up... We didn't have a fridge and we desperately needed one. By this time it was pushing 9:00 pm but Home Depot was right across the street and they were still open. We had just enough room in the truck for a fridge so we decided to just do it. Huge mistake. We were there for almost two hours getting the worst service I have EVER experienced. If Duane ever reads this, you were incredibly horrible to work with. The fridge we wanted was blocked by the new shipment and was impossible to get to. They ended up selling us the floor model to make an excruciately long story short. We bought it because they had just put it out so it was as good as brand new. However, we go to pay for it and they think they're just going to put this brand new $600 fridge in the back of the truck with nothing around it? Seriously? I had totally had it by this point and it was freaking late and of course I was just a tad bitchy. :) I ever so politely informed them that that would not be happening and that Mr. Retarded Buck Toothed Disgusting Breath Duane would need to get someone of real assitance to do something to protect this fridge in the truck. Two other guys come out with freaking saran wrap. Seriously? To protect a refrigerator? Whatever. They wrapped it up and put it in the truck and we were finally on our way. It wasn't two seconds until Marshal called me and we vented over the phone all the way home about how we could not believe what had just happened haha it was like what might happen in an extremely frustrating movie. Ugh. Okay enough, we got to the house, got the fridge out (just the two of us--yeah I'm ripped.) okay so it had wheels, whatev. Then we unpacked the rest of our stuff which I swear has multiplied by like twenty times since we first moved to St. George. We finally had everything in the house as the clock struck 12. Longest. Day. Ever. but we'll never forget it because guess what? It was the first night we spent sleeping in the house that we now OWNED. The most awesome feeling ever. Okay so now quickly moving through the last month with the house: We unpacked relatively slowly but we were constantly buying things like our tv stand, microwave etc. Now, we've started the remodel and it is SO much fun. I've always wanted to do projects like this and be able to see the progress we make on our own house. We have now refinished the cabinets in both bathrooms and are working on tiling the counters and floors. It's a lot of work but thankfully, Marshal has got it under control. :) Oh here are the specs of the house: It's 3 bedrooms (although one is more like an office) 2 bathrooms. Two car garage on a quarter of an acre which is freaking huge in my opinion haha. It will be getting a new stucco and interior paint job asap at which point we will extend the fencing to create a larger fenced in back/side yard. The front room is kind of weirdly shaped but it looks really cute I think. It still needs a lot of work but I think it's adorable and getting better everyday. It's 1300 square feet so it's not super big but it's perfect sized for just us. Don't worry, I've been taking plenty of before and during pictures but I don't want to post them until we have after pictures too because the beginning state is kind of gross haha. Hmm.. what else can I update? My dad is finally back down here in a homey little care center and I think he's a lot happier. I don't know if it's something with the meds that they changed but he talks a lot more and is surprisingly upbeat at least with me. I visit him a few times a week usually on my lunch break and he's happy to see me every time. I love it so much. I've missed him more than even I knew over the last few years. I hope this turns out to be a good situation for him. Marshal is doing great, he loves his job and he comes home happy most days which I love! He's so sweet and I couldn't be happier to be celebrating 2 years together next weekend. :) Feels like two weeks! Although those would be a pretty jam-packed two weeks haha. I really miss having friends, I would say that's the one thing we're missing from our lives. It sucks how busy individual lives can get and I wish I could make the time to call every one of the friends I've had but truth is, I can't. I just keep the best ones as close as possible and I try to contact them often to make sure they're happy and to tell them I miss them so much. Yes, Bb and Lexa, you. :) I have a hard time making friends thanks to you. Only because I compare them all to you two and the relationship we've had for so long and how you don't drive me to insanity by just talking haha. Oh well though, for now we are very content. We take Lady for a walk every night and she chases jack rabbits and birds until her little heart is content and her little legs are exhausted. I love Ivins, it's such a cute place to live and it's actually nice to be away from town. It's perfect. As for putting a ring on it... I wish! :) It will happen but no news of that sort yet... to my despair haha. I guess buying a house put a little dent in our almost unlimited budget, damn. For now, I couldn't be happier or more excited for the things that are to come. It's crazy where life takes us, I never pictured myself with such a great person, owning a house at 19, and being so unbelievably blessed with the things we have.  I've got my priorities somewhat straight (except for the apparent physical NEED to bake something every single day), my family is supportive and we're taking it each day at a time but having a blast all the while. I can honestly say that I am the happiest I've been in a very long time or maybe ever. :) My attempt to update is pretty much complete I think, I know there is a lot I've left out but I tried haha. Our next big news is that we are getting Directv tomorrow morning and I can't wait! We are both so freaking sick of our limited movie selection haha. Plans are to go camping for our anniversary next weekend and then partying it up with my cute sister and her family for my birthday. Tuacahn say what? :) Can't wait! Now maybe I'll try to keep up on this thing somewhat. Yeah... See ya in six months.

Week at a Glance

Okay this blog thing is becoming more like a journal for me so I don't doubt that it's dreadfully boring for anyone else to read but whatev. ;) On Monday I just worked and then rented a movie for Marshal and I to watch and it totally sucked. Don't watch Takers, snorefest of the century. then I made black bean, corn, and chicken quesadillas for dinner. Mmm Mmm. I thankfully didn't have to work on Tuesday so I started the day with a bike ride and some P90x. Then we (Jacie, the girls and me) went up to Veyo to spend the day swimming and for me, getting burnt. It was sooo much fun though. I love that area, the trees, blackberry bushes, canyons, it's all so pretty. Marshal and his Dad came up after work and we had a very unhealthy dinner consisting of corndogs, hamburgers, fries, and ice cream haha. Yikes. On Wednesday, I had to work all day and then we went to dinner at Wade and Jacie's house yet again. I swear we should be giving them grocery money haha. But she cooked up her venison and it was delicious. :) I hope I can cook as good as she does someday. Seriously. Thursday, I was off again. Can I just tell you how much I love not working everyday haha. Anyways, I went on a pretty tough bike ride, did P90x and cleaned the house up, shipped the three text books I sold!, and cleaned the guest bedroom and Wade and Jacie's house. I got home just in time to see the cutest face I've ever seen. :) Love that boy. I made BBQ chicken and bacon calzones for dinner and then Marshal took me to the fair for a cute little date. Unfortunately, it was dreadfully hot (welcome to St. George) so we didn't stay long. Marshal blew ten bucks throwing darts at balloons and got Lady some new chew toys that she's already destroyed haha. The Carnies around here have gotten more and more sketchy with the passing years. I'm talking toothless, likely high on meth, disgusting, scary guys. Anyways, we didn't let the fun stop there! :) We decided to go play mini golf at Fiesta Fun. Talk about flashback! We played our 18 holes and then spent almost an hour with four dollars in the arcade haha now that's talent. Actually the reason we spent so little was because that place has gone to crap. The games are almost all broken so we spent our time playing skeeball on one machine. It was surprisingly fun. :) We cashed in our tickets for some pettier than I remember them being, prizes. That place was so huge and exciting when I was little but it's more pathetic than anything now haha. We decided to keep with the theme of reminiscing and went to Baskin Robbins where we both used to go when we were little. We got way too big of ice creams and it was so worth it. :) It was the most fun we've had in a while and it was definitely needed. Today, I woke up early to go babysit for about an hour and then went to work. The plan for the evening is to have homemade orange chicken rice bowls, possibly go cut up  the wood at Marshal's Dad's house or just hang out and relax, depending on how tired Marshal is. I have to work most of the day tomorrow which sucks but I only work for a few hours on Sunday and then I'm off everyday except for Thursday next week and it's off to Panguitch next weekend for a last hurrah before school starts the following Tuesday! Life is getting more and more crazy everyday and I'm loving it! Whoo, that's a wrap.

The fair. :) If only you could see my super cute shirt!

Big Winners! ;)

Update, finally!

Where to begin... It's been almost a month since I've sat down and devoted time to this blog and I've missed it! I have been so ridiculously busy, the days fly by and I can hardly remember everything that's happened this month without looking at my event calendar. Here goes my attempt to catch you all up on my life. :) Starting with July 15-17: We went to Panguitch lake with Marshal's Dad's family and his friends. We took the boat and Marshal's Dad bought us both brand new fishing poles that are soooo nice. We ended up catching six huge fish that weekend! We also had the most delicious ribs ever from a little lake restaurant up there and had it out with a couple of hippies. Some people are just so selfish, rude and inconsiderate, I hope you never have to come in contact with these particular ones. Oh well, the weekend was a blast still and it was so great to get away and enjoy the cool weather up there. That next week was my first week of work at Old Navy and I don't think there was a single day that I left without a bag in hand. Gap Inc. thinks they're paying me but it's really all going back to the store, oopsies. Walking around checking out and folding all of the clothes makes it nearly impossible to leave without something haha gotta kick that habit fast before I'm broke. This sounds pathetic but that job is pretty exhausting especially when I've got a full shift on the sales floor. Walking, bending, climbing ladders and staying perky enough to greet and help customers really takes a lot out of a girl, at least me haha I'm definitely not made to be in retail for the rest of my life. Halelujah. It's fun and a good experience for now. :) That weekend was Marshal's birthday weekend and boy did he know it. ;) He got a credit card earlier in the week and bought himself a PS3 for his birthday. (Gift #1) I woke him up at Midnight on Friday the 22nd and gave him a little book that I put together called "Those 3 Words". Inside, it had twenty pages of the words, "I love you" in a variety of different languages. The last page said iLoveyou with an Apple symbol and just as he read that page, I pulled out the iPhone I bought him. I don't know if it was the fact that it was the middle of the night and we were both dead tired, or if he really was that excited but he LOVED it. I thought it was a pretty genius idea and it did play out perfectly so his birthday started off great. :) I got up with him to make his lunch like every other day and he went to work. I had to work but only until two that day so I came home and made him a cake and a cookie cake to celebrate with later that night. When he got home we went to dinner at Wing Nutz which is like a bar/restaurant place with the most delicious food ever! I didn't think it would be that great but it turned out to be way more than I expected. New favorite date night food. :) Then we took the cakes that I made and decorated over to his Dad's house to do cake and ice cream with the family since Nelson was in town too. His Dad and Jacie gave him a new tackle box full of fishing stuff to go along with our fancy new fishing poles. (#2) Nelson got him Call of Duty (#3) and Skull Candy headphones (#4). Spoiled, right? :) He deserves every bit of it though. We lit off fireworks that night and then came home and Nelson and Marshal stayed up all night playing cod while I of course, crashed. :) On Saturday, I made what Marshal would call the absolute best thing he's ever eaten, orange rolls. And I'll admit, they were pretty freakin good. He was practically bowing down to me for them though. I love cooking these days and I really love trying to recipes and having them be great. :) On Saturday, I had to work for a few hours and then we went to his Dad's for a barbecue and then went and got a glacier at Frostop and walked around at the park where there just happened to be a concert that night. Perfect. <3 It was a great weekend and I hope a great birthday for him because he deserves nothing short of the best. Okay the next week went pretty routine, I worked, Marshal worked, I hung out with Jacie and the girls on my days off and made some pretty tasty dinners. Unfortunately, my grandpa got sick that week with an abscess on his colon requiring some pretty intensive surgery. He didn't recover very well at first and was like a whole different person in the way he acted and talked. He was chronically confused and angry which is nothing like him at all. Once he got out of the hospital, my Grandma had to move him into a care center in Mesquite because he required 24/7 care and she just couldn't do it all. He's still there right now and my poor Grandma is struggling so much with the whole thing. He is definitely less confused now and his sweet personality is back but you can tell that there's still something not right. Hopefully he'll continue to recover and be back home this week. Everything happens for a reason right? I'm just glad it's not permanent and that he is getting better. I don't know what I'd do if he wasn't around. Love that adorable guy. :) Beginning Wednesday of that week, the Sip family reunion was in full swing. I went up to Cedar early that day to clean out the apartment and hang out with my Mom, Grandma and Aunt Nickie. I've never cleaned so much in my life, it was exhausting! Marshal and the whole fam came up later to go watch the green show and then move our couches down here. Thursday after work, we had dinner at the Toquerville Park with the Sips and just visited for a couple hours. Friday was Quail Lake night where we had dinner and played in the water until it was too dark to see. On Saturday, we all went out to Veyo Pool and had a campsite right on the creek reserved for the day. It was absolutely gorgeous! I could live there if no one else did haha. There's a pool that is filled with Spring water and drained every single night, a snack bar, and a crawdad filled creek in a tall canyon with rope bridges across it. I fell in love with it. We swam and played in the creek all day and had a dutch oven dinner that night. On Sunday, Marshal and I went to Snow Canyon State Park to finally complete the final project for my Geology class. It was actually a lot prettier and more interesting that I ever thought it would be. I spent the rest of the day writing the report while Marshal and Nelson played Cod haha. Okay we're getting close to real time... This last week was pretty hectic, I don't think I got to sit down for a minute until now. I didn't work Monday but there was plenty to do around the house. First, I went for a bike ride, I forgot how much of a workout that really is! Then I cleaned like crazy, did laundry and got ready for dinner at Marshal's Dad's house for his Uncle's birthday. I worked all day long on Tuesday and Wednesday which left me dead as can be haha. On Thursday I went school clothes shopping with Jacie and the girls and went to lunch with my love, then visited Marshal's Grandma in the hospital. We had dinner over at his Dad's house again that night because we were figuring out where to build their chicken coop for the cute little beebee chickies they got! I had to work again on Friday and then did some more shopping with Jacie and the girls afterwards and got frozen yogurt. We woke up bright and early (I'm talking 5:30 am) on Saturday to go out to Modena and get a load of firewood with Marshal and his Dad, Jacie and the girls. We explored the mountain and land that Wade owns out there, had a picnic, and then headed back down into Enterprise because Jacie had a Doe tag she needed to fill. We had dinner at this cute retro hamburger joint and then went on the hunt. It didn't take very long though, she shot the first one we saw and it was down. I stayed back and played with the girls while they did the dirty work. If anyone is still reading, it's today! Marshal and I went on a tough bike ride this morning. I didn't think I would make it back home haha but he's got legs of steel that force me to keep up. :) He's a good workout buddy, if only he had time to workout more often. We got back home and Marshal's grandparents came down from Pine Valley. We visited with them because we haven't seen them in so long and then went to Costco with them. Seriously forgot how awesome that place is, we're definitely getting a membership haha I wish I was kidding. We got Jack in the box for lunch and had cake for John's birthday. Marshal and John have been playing the Wii John got from his parents, they're so cute. In other news, I'm officially done with all of my online classes and I couldn't be more stoked! Hello summer? Haha too bad school starts in two weeks. Also, Lady is the cutest dog ever, We're hoping to go see The Little Mermaid this week or next at Tuacahn, I'm going on a serious health food craze, I miss my Mama and being able to go to her house three times a day but I'm loving having Jacie to hang out with when Marshal works. Blu-ray movies are incredibly better that dvd's and I really have the best boyfriend in the world. He does more for me than I could ever ask of anyone and he loves me on top of it all. Life is going at crazy speed right now but I'm loving every minute of it and I wouldn't trade a single second of it for the world. I'm really going to put in an effort to do this more often although it's been fun reminiscing on the last few weeks haha. I'll work on getting some pictures up. I'm so happy. :)

Lookin' Up!

What a hectic few days! Last Friday feels like a month ago already but that was the day of Cassie's wedding reception up in Salt Lake. She looked absolutely gorgeous and the whole thing just looked perfect. I'm so glad it all worked out just like she planned. I loved it. We drove home that night (talk about a long day), so we could move to St. George on Saturday. We got home at about 1:00 am and woke up the next morning by 9:00 to start packing it up. We filled the bed of Marshal's truck and filled up my car and got to the new house at noon. Before moving our stuff in, we had to move stuff out of the room that is now ours. Marshal's Dad came over to help him move all of the heavy stuff to another room and then Marshal went with him back to Cedar to get our bed while I unpacked the truck. Haha I've never been so sweaty in my life. Once I got it all in, I fell asleep on the floor until Marshal's grandparents got here. His Grandma and I went through some of the kitchen and just visited for a while. They ordered pizza and when Marshal and Wade got back and unloaded the bed, we all sat around and talked and ate. My mom dropped by a little later on her way to Mesquite and we just unpacked a little bit before making a trip to Wal-Mart. I think we made it through four isles before Marshal was sitting on the ground looking at the laundry soap so we just got cereal and milk and left haha. On Sunday, Marshal put a fence up so Lady can be in the backyard without getting out and we went back to Wal-Mart. We got all of our groceries home and then I spent at least an hour cleaning the fridge before unloading them. It's nice and clean now though and that's all that matters. :) That evening, we played a forever long game of Monopoly with John who kicked our butts and had pancakes for din din. Monday, Marshal was back to work at 6 a.m. Poor guy, right? I got up and made him a little lunchy and then crashed until ten haha. I went crazy unpacking the rest of the day. I got our room completely unpacked, the bathroom organized, and attacked the kitchen and full speed. The kithen was a good three hour project, no joke. It's hard moving into a house that has everything already but then we have our own stuff on top of it. Marshal's Grandma has a ton of old dishes from her Mom and Grandma in the cupboards so after condensing, cleaning, and organizing, the kitchen is sooo perfect now. There really is plenty of room and I cleaned it all. Then, I decided to call a few places about job applications that I had turned in and for some reason I have incredible luck. I called Old Navy and they asked me to come in for an interview at 5:00 that day! I was freaking out and had to take a fast shower and get ready quick just to be wayyy too early haha I'm an idiot. Anyways, it was a group interview and I don't mean to brag but I killllllled it. :) The others in my group seemed like it was their first interview and had no idea what was going on. During the interview, we even had to be mock employees out on the floor and it was so much fun! I loved it. I've never come out of an interview feeling so confident. It was a great change. :) I got back to the house and my cutest boyfriend had dinner ready (his famous baked spaghetti) and it was delicious! We sat down and ate and then as I started to clean the dishes, my phone rang... It was the manager from Old Navy asking me if I would come back for a second interview the next day! I was ecstatic and jumping and screaming and just so excited. Marshal was even excited enough to leap off the ground a couple times, which made it even better haha. We left the house almost immediately to go shopping so I would have a fancy outfit to wear to that interview haha I'm not kidding. We went to Maurices and Marshal bought me two adorable shirts and some fancy business looking capris. Did I mention he's the best boyfriend I could ever ask for? :) Then we hit Larson's for a celebratory glacier and went to the park where there just happened to be a concert that night. We walked around talking and loving life and then came back home, layed on the couch and watched Family Guy. Most perfect day? I think so. :) Ah this post is so freakin long already! Oh well haha. Yesterday, I went back to Old Navy for a second interview with a different manager and she was so cute. We just laughed the whole time pretty much and she extended a job offer at the end of the interview! I was so shocked that it was so easy, I couldn't believe it! I got out to the car and immediately called Marshal screaming and booked it home. He had gotten off early because he had a dentist appointment so he was here when I got back. After some more running, jumping and screaming, we went to Cedar for his appointment. After the hottest ride from hell and Marshal's five minute appointment, we went to Payless and I got a super cute pair of brown flats for my NEW JOB! Haha I still can't get over it. I swear I tell Marshal like ten times a day that I have a job. :) We were going to stay and clean the apartment but just got Panda for dinner and took another load of crap to bring to our new home. By the way, this house is more than I could ever dream of and Marshal's Uncle John is adorable. I love living here so much already. This is exactly the change I needed. Being able to make Marshal's lunch and send him off in the mornings knowing that I'll see him at night is the best thing ever. I'm worried that I'm going to have evening shifts and won't be able to make dinner very often but we'll work it out. So far, although I've had to do a lot of cleaning, I've never been so happy. Today, I have employment training at three and I'm already hoping that I don't have to work this weekend so I can go camping with Marshal's family at Panguitch Lake. I'll be soo bummed if I can't. Other than that, life is great and getting better everyday. Love, love, love. I'll try to post pictures sometime in the midst of the madness that is my life. I know you'll fall in love with this house too. ;) And scene.

Crazyyy.

I've been crazy busy lately so forgive me for falling behind on the bloggy. :) We went to Navajo Lake last weekend with Marshal's stepmom's family, it is so gorgeous up there! We had our own campsite and set up our little tent and had a great view of the lake with all the trees. Seriously, if you ever need to get away to somewhere peaceful and relaxing, head up there. We played frisbee, went fishing, hiked around, took naps, ate delicious meals and of course roasted marshmallows for smore's. Unfortuantely Lady went into heat the day we left and well, it's just disgusting. I felt so bad for her the whole time we were up there though because not only was she on her period which just sucks, she was throwing up and pooping like crazy. She was miserable but snapped out of it after the first day or so. Marshal's dad took their little fishing boat up to the lake and I caught a fish! It was wayyy too exciting haha. Oh I forgot to brag about these delicious cookies I made before we left, I made them from scratch (which I'm getting pretty good at) and they had mini reese's cups in them. To say the least, I think the whole three dozen were inhaled within an hour. While we were just sitting around one of the days, my cute boyfriend went and found me a walking stick to carve. It entertained me for a couple hours and turned out pretty cool haha. We packed up camp on Monday morning after one last fishing trip in the boat with Marshal's little sisters. When we got home, I immediately checked my grades for the result of my Math 2010 final and I got a 97%! I got an A in the class and I couldn't be happier that it's finally over. :) After an extra long shower to rid ourselves of the stench of nature and filth that we acquired, we went to my Mom's to hang out and do laundry and one other chore... After we started laundry, we went to Chili's for dinner and then hit Wal-Mart for groceries then went back to my Mom's. Anyways, that chore turned out to be a pain haha. We bought electric clippers at Wal-Mart and decided to shave Lady. Oh boy. I've never seen so much hair in my entire life, no exaggeration. It took us a good hour at least and she did not like it. While she was definitely better behaved than we expected, it was still no where near easy. My nephews Titus and Ryan and my niece Jasmine are at my Mom's for the week so we set off fireworks after that and watched the real fireworks. :) It was fun and the kids loved the sparklers and "flowers". Then we came home and started the week all over, preparing for an early morning for Marshal and a stressful week for me. I worked for a few hours on Tuesday morning and then picked up Jasmine to come over to the apartment and make a cookie cake for Nickie since it was her 50th birthday. We made little Chef shirts to cook in and dove into a new recipe. :) Jasmine had a ton of fun helping put it all together and sneak a few bites of dough. The extra large cookie turned out great and once in cooled, we took to decorating it. :) I did the writing and then Jasmine did the rest of the frosting. It was such a great idea and I'm so glad we did it. Nickie was surprised and thrilled with it and my Grandma and Grandpa thought it was the coolest thing ever. That night, I came back home and packed the majority of the house! I continued the next morning and I'm shocked at how much I got done. Packing got me soooo excited for the move, I can't wait! Yesterday, I just worked and hung out with the kids. They're seriously so freaking funny, they had me laughing all night long and the fact that my mom was trying to make them calm down made it even more hilarious. Today, I am loving the fact that I finally get to sleep in but now I'll pack some more and maybe work on my online classes (yeah right) and then go to work. I promised the kids that I would sleep over there tonight so I'll be either entertaining or being entertained for the rest of the evening. :) I wish my family lived closer sooo badly. Then tomorrow, Marshal and I are driving up to Salt Lake for Cassie's wedding reception and then driving back late that night so we can move our stuff to St. George on Saturday and move stuff from the new house out to Pine Valley as well. Busy weekend? I think so but it'll be fun and over before we know it. I'm just loving life and where it's taking us. I think the most comforting fact in the world is that I'm not going anywhere alone, I'll always have the most perfect guy right by my side. <3
The view from right below our campsite. Isn't it gorgeous?!

Not the best picture but it's the only one I got. :) Love him.

So picture perfect, until he threw her in haha.

Chef Jasmine and her Chef Auntie Holly.
So cute. :)

The finished product and it was sooo yummy.
Better than cake if you ask me. :)

I'm In!!!!

This is absolutely the very last thing I should be doing right now but I had to share the excitement! I got my letter of acceptance into the College of Education today!!!! :) :) You have to have a minimum of 80 points accrued from your application, tests, interview and gpa and I had a total of 96! Woo! :) Now let the work begin, I'm sooo excited! Other news: I went to St. George today and had an interview at Kneaders Bakery... not holding my breath for that one haha they had already interviewed 300 people before me. Poor manager! I went to a few other places to check on positions but it's awkward going by myself so I was glad Marshal got off work semi-early. :) We went to Olive Garden for dinner and then I had to leave due to my complete lack of studying for the final I have to take in the morning haha oops. So now, after two hours of studying I'm stoked to never have to look at the notes for this class ever again. Good riddance Math 2010, I can't wait for 11:15 a.m. tomorrow. So right now, I should be either cleaning the house or packing everything up for the weekend or possibly getting some sleep before this test but at this point, although I'm trying realllllly hard to care about this class for just one more day, I don't. Not even slightly and therefore, this test can suck it. I don't know how I'll make it through Math 2020 in the Fall. But I'm certainly not thinking about that yet, all that is on my mind is getting out of town and having a blast this weekend camping at Navajo Lake. Oh! One more exciting tid bit. In the midst of looking for jobs, I've come across some information about working for the school district and if it's not a possibility for this Fall, it will be for the Spring! That would obviously be the most ideal job in the world right now so I'm hoping the keenks (I have no idea how to spell that right now) will all work themselves out and I'll land a job as an aid at one of the schools in St. George! Woo! So that's all for now, I'm sure there will be a huge post following this weekend so keep ya eyes peeled BB. ;) Happy Fourth of July weekend everyone! Be safe and have lots of fun! <3

Just what I needed. :)

Okay, this last weekend was so simple and so perfect despite all the glitches. :) When Marshal got home on Friday night, I had dinner almost ready. I found a new recipe that sounded really good so I tried it. Yikes, big mistake haha. The noodles and sauce were absolutely disgusting but hey, the chicken was delicious so I think that made up for it haha. Oh that and the fact that we ate half the carton of bunny tracks ice cream that night. Mmm. Also that night, I needed to run to the pool to submit an assignment from Blair's computer which turned out to be fun. :) Marshal taught me how to make a paper airplane and we went outside and threw them all over until they just refused to fly anymore haha. Then I remembered that we had a frisbee in the car so we let Lady out and played frisbee on the grass in front of the PE building for a good hour. Once Marshal taught me how to properly throw it, we had a lot of fun. On Saturday, we decided that since the night before had been so fun, we wanted to do the same thing. :) We went and bought a badminton set and a real frisbee and went to the other side of that building. This time, I was wearing my swim suit under my clothes so I got to lay out and get a tan for the first time this summer! I was stokeddd. We played games and just relaxed for a couple hours before we went home and showered and got ready. Then, we went over to Groovefest and the first booth we saw was Colie and Co. Sooo cute. They make the cutest stuff ever and I bought some of Tami's earrings that I Love! Not only do I miss the twins but that made me realize how much I miss their family too! We walked around there for a while and then went to Sonny Boy's for dinner since I had a gift certificate haha. It's not all it's talked up to be, but it was fine. We went over to my mom's to hang out after that and took my bike too. :) Then we went late night grocery shopping and came home and watched that so stupid it's funny movie, White Chicks and I seriously stayed awake for the whole thing! Can you believe that?? Unfortunately, we had to wake up super early for 9:00 church for Joey and Danny's farewell but their talks were good and we saw pretty much everyone from high school there. At noon, we went out to their house for a little luncheon and visited with everyone for a while before coming back home and heading out on a bike ride. :) We wore our swim suits again and rode to the college and around campus before ending up at the pool where we jumped off the diving boards and swam around for a while. Then we rode our bikes to Canyon Park and to the end of the trail. What a workout haha. We rode home through the neighborhoods and to say the least, we were exhausted by the end of it but it was sooo fun and a cute way to spend the day together, I think. :) Marshal barbecued the yummiest chicken for dinner and I made cornbread and baked beans. Great dinner to end the weekend. Did I mention we also ate the rest of that ice cream haha fatties. This laid back, no pressure weekend was just what I needed to get my through this last week of class. I got a 93 on my test yesterday and only have the final left which is on Friday. Today, I'm heading to St. George with my Mom and Nickie for eye appointments and to meet my baby for dinner. :) Then, on Thursday I'm going back to St. George for open interviews at a new little bakery/cafe that's opening down there. I'm scared but I think I would love that job so I gotta give it all I got! Then after a half day of work, Marshal will pick me up on Friday to go up to Navajo Lake for the weekend with his Dad's family. It's soooo pretty and so much fun up there, I can't wait! Great way to end another "semester". After that, the job hunt will be going full throttle and I'll be more ansy than ever to get moved. :) Can't wait! Until then, wish me luck on my final and interview!
